  • You must represent yourself in a truthful manner presenting proper photo ID for any of the
    related services that you are seeking and if you are a minor follow proper procedures
    regarding the services that you seek as outlined in this policy.
  • Body modification is not an exact science and each individual has varying tolerances to pain
    and the overall process, those with higher thresholds to pain enable us to complete our
    work in a shorter time, while those who have a lower threshold will take longer. We try very
    hard to accommodate each person's individual needs and give all equal amounts of respect
    and attention so please understand that the waiting time can be prolonged and it is
    impossible for us to honor exact appointment times. If you do have an appointment we will
    guarantee that you will be next as soon as the current client is done. Please expect to wait
    patiently for service. We are also committed to keeping our prices reasonable while
    maintaining the highest standards to keep these prices stable please spread the word and

  • We reserve the right to turn anyone down for service who does not respect and follow the
    rules established by Divine Ink Tattoos as well as those who are serviced on these
    premises for any reason whatsoever with or without explanation. We reserve the right to
    deny any and all requests for "hate" related work requests.
  • We are always working on some media "project" or another, all "project" related information
    and scheduling will be posted on our site, during those times we will be enacting a "closed"
    door policy where if you want services you must be willing to participate in the "taping" of our
    project and be willing to sign a release form, minors must be accompanied by their legal
    guardians with proper photo ID for all parties and proper "guardianship" documents.
    Absolutely no exceptions!
  • No shirt, no shoes, no service, also no alcohol/drugs/gambling or any other unlawful
    conduct. No copying of any Divine Ink Tattoos property, this includes any/all but not limited to:
    artwork, flash designs, renderings, images, soundtrack of/by any artist on our premises by
    any means whatsoever including but not limited to cell phone cameras, video cameras,
    microphones, etc., without our written expressed permission. Our work is protected by
    copyright laws. Copying = Stealing and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!
    Please refrain from being loud and distracting. You will be asked to leave!
  • All payment in advance as to avoid confusion later. Sorry, but the only credit we extend is on
    the credit card machine! You must be paid in full before any drawing work is done, samples
    of artist’s styles available for review before payment. Preparation fees for all drawing work
    required. All artists must be compensated for their time!
  • Our minimum is $25.00 for any procedure irrelevant of size, anything below that, we start
    paying for your procedure, so please don’t ask us to lower our prices anymore than what
    they are. We do love what we do and try to keep body modification affordable but there are
    associated expenses involved in maintaining our studio standards and your health. Just like
    you, our artist must eat and pay bills too!
  • Consultations are free but is limited to 15 minutes. Please understand that we are a busy
    shop and have limited amounts of time so come prepared with any reference materials that
    you may have and a clear idea of what you want to make it easier for us to provide you with
    optimal service otherwise please schedule a "consultation" appointment.
  • We require a minimum $20.00 cash deposit for custom work, if the piece is large scale we
    require a higher deposit to be determined by the individual artists. We require 50% deposit
    on all custom piercing appointments and jewelry/merchandise orders. All custom
    work/jewelry deposits are good for only 30 days and are non-refundable/non-transferable
    aside from the "other" deposit terms so please do not get this confused. There is up to a 2
    week wait or possibly longer for custom drawing completion unless otherwise noted due to
    the high volume of custom work that we do, in any event your deposit will be extended to
    reflect as such. Piercing  requires no appointments unless for a specified "project", first
    come-first serve basis please! There may be an extended waiting times for piercing too.
    Cash or credit card only, no checks will be accepted! Please come sober!
  • If you are unable to make it into the studio in person, it is necessary to either call and make
    special arrangements, or directly e-mail your references at: CustomWork@DivineInkTattoos
    or fax all materials to us at: 1(253)-660-5131This e-mail address is only for e-mailing
    references/images as jpeg or jpg FORMAT ONLY. You can expect an answer within 7-10
    business days. Please specify if you'd like a particular artist to do the work or it will be
    expedited to the next available artist. Once we receive your references and discussed them
    with you, you can mail in a deposit payable to: "Divine Ink Tattoos" by money order in $USD,
    you must call for mailing details: 718-677-0950. When your payment is received that is when
    we will prepare your piece. We never send out copies of our drawings, when you come in for
    your appointment you must arrive an hour prior so that if any "minor" changes need to be
    made we will be able to accommodate you if changes are "major" you must reschedule your
    appointment at your own traveling expenses. Be precise about what you want, there are no
    refunds!
  • All deposits are non-refundable/non-transferable only good for 30 days! We must get paid
    for the time invested in drawing and preparation of your tattoo so please be absolutely
    certain about  what you are getting because there are absolutely no exceptions!
  • Being such, our pricing reflect the artist's skill level, quality of work, years of experience and
    approximate time duration, we do try to give an accurate judgement of time. If we do grossly
    go under time (30 minutes or more) the price difference will be refunded or you have the
    option to receive a Divine Ink Tattoos Gift Certificate reflecting the balance of time owed to you
    to be used towards a future tattoo ($50.00 or greater value) with the same artist that did the
    original work. Absolutely no exceptions!
  • Being fair to our artists/clients, please understand that if you do have difficulty completing the
    tattoo we will allow a 30 minute free overtime grace period but any time above that will be
    charged at regular rate, if you do not have sufficient funds with you, you will have to return at a
    future date to complete the tattoo and pay the balance however the outline must be
    completed or any future re-alignment is at your own risk, alignment can be thrown off by
    minimal weight gain/loss. If the artist has a scheduled appointment we cannot expect
    his/her appointment to be kept waiting beyond 30 minutes so at that point you will have to
    come back at a future date to complete the tattoo and pay the balance.
  • Regarding genital piercing, only serious "adults" need apply, once you are exposed the
    procedure has been paid for whether you complete it or not, we do not tolerate any type of
    sexual harassment especially intentional indecent exposure. We NEVER do genital piercing
    on minors. Consider this a handling fee!
  • There is a 10 minute time limit for all piercing procedures, so be absolutely sure you are
    ready  when you arrive, sorry but it is inconsiderate to have others wait, they may be nervous
    too. If you will need more time to prepare mentally, you will have to come back when it is less
    busy (call first) or all applicable fees will be charged if you go over the time limit.
  • If the custom drawing takes more than 30 minutes preparation time especially if the artist is
    "busy" or "working" on a client you must either schedule a "free" consultation appointment
    and expect to leave a deposit, or come in when it is less busy (call first). In any case a
    deposit must be collected before any "drawing" work is done. Absolutely no exceptions!
  • There is a $10.00 fee for opening equipment if you decide to cancel the procedure after the
    seals have been broken. Sorry but it does cost us money to provide the materials in order for
    us to do these procedures, so there are absolutely no exceptions to this rule.
  • Once you are signed up for a tattoo that the artist has taken his/her time to prepare whether it
    be an "on the spot" drawing or a "deposit" drawing and you decide to cancel the procedure
    there will be a 20% artist preparation fee deducted from your refund for "on the spot"
    drawings and the amount of deposit for "deposit" drawings.  You will be refunded your
    money minus the deposit amount and any other applicable fees. Absolutely no exceptions!,
    the artists must be compensated for their time.
  • Once work has commenced you have the option to either make an appointment to
    continue/complete the tattoo/piercing on a day convenient to both you and the artist or
    whatever has been rendered is what you have paid for. Absolutely no exceptions!
  • We allow only one cancellation of your appointment without 24HR prior notice after that a
    $10.00 fee is required to reschedule another appointment, if the second appointment is kept
    then that fee will be refunded, however, if cancellation again without 24HR prior notice,
    appointment "fees" will be in effect and are non-refundable/non-transferable for each and
    every appointment there after! Paying a deposit for an appointment guarantees your
    appointment slot for that day but we cannot promise exact times due to the nature of our
    work so plan on extended waiting times. You must give 24HR notice if you want to
    cancel/reschedule your appointment without penalty and you must reschedule your
    appointment for a later day convenient for the artist. Only in the event that you no longer want
    the tattoo you will be refunded the difference of the drawing "deposit", if paid in full, and all
    "fees" apply. For any rescheduled appointment made by phone, you will be given 72 hours to
    bring in your deposit. If payment is not received within that time, your appointment will not be
    held. Absolutely no exceptions!
  • If you are found to have given any false information on the consent form, no money will be
    refunded in any event, especially pertaining to the infectious disease and drug/alcohol
    clause.
  • In the event that you damage your tattoo at you own fault there will be a minimum fee of
    $10.00 for repairs 20 minutes or less but if repairs are above 20 minutes you will be
    charged at regular rate.  
  • If in the midst of doing the tattoo/piercing you become disorderly, disrespectful or sexually
    harassing the procedure is over and you will be asked to leave and no refund is granted,
    consider this a damages fee. Absolutely no exceptions!
  • We are NOT doctors or health care professionals and make no claim to be. All
    recommendations are to be taken on an advice basis based on our experiences in the field
    and is to be reviewed by yourself and your physician. We will not administer medications or
    give medical advice so please do not ask us to. If any staff member attempts to offer you
    medication/drugs you must report it immediately to management so that we can handle the
    situation immediately. If you chose to accept any forms of medications/drugs from anyone
    on these premises it is at your sole responsibility and risk. We do not condone these
    actions! What do I need to do or bring with me the day of my actual appointment?
  • We want your experience to be the best possible so please follow these recommendations,
    they will help make things go smoothly:
  1. Eat before you come in, or else you might feel dizzy or light-headed.
  2. Do not drink alcohol/do drugs/take aspirin at least 24 hours prior to getting tattooed.
  3. Divine Ink does not tolerate any alcohol, drug, or intoxicants in the studio. We reserve the  
    right to refuse services if you are suspected to be under the influence of anything. This might
    sound harsh, but your safety is more important to us than anything else.
  4. Try to get a good night's sleep the night before getting tattooed.
  5. Wear comfortable, loose clothing that will easily allow access to the area to be tattooed.
  6. It is OK to bring a beverage, especially water or fruit juice, with you in case you get thirsty
    during your tattoo.
  7. Before getting started with the tattoo, please inform us of any allergies or special medical
    conditions that you may have.
  8. If you have any other questions at all, please ask!!!
  • You are to conduct yourself in a quiet, orderly manner. What we do here takes focus and
    concentration. We will not tolerate any  distractions whatsoever, if you are accompanied by
    children you must be responsible for them; keeping them seated and quiet. If you are unable
    to do so, please return at another time with assistance. If they should get hurt on our
    premises it is solely your responsibility.
  • We also reserve the right to ask anyone to remove themselves from the premises if they
    conduct themselves in an unlawful and/or disorderly manner, if you refuse we will call the
    police and we will press charges.
  • You are responsible for your own personal property, any property that is lost, stolen,
    damaged and/or destroyed because of your own negligence is solely your own
    responsibility so please keep an eye on your items at all times.
  • These premises are under surveillance, we do not take responsibility for any adverse effects
    that may result from our recordings and we are unable to edit these recording due to the fact
    that images are sent to an undisclosed location. So please don’t ask us for we are unable.
  • All terms stated on our site and in this policy are subject to change with or without prior
